Directions
From Parkway East (Pittsburgh and most points West):
Exit 14a Monroeville. Drive on Route 48 straight through light at Route 22 Intersection, through light at Daugherty Road, through light at Northern Pike Intersection, through light at Shopping Mall Intersection (from this light you will see the Gateway High School Sign and Campus on your Right). Next Light is Gateway Campus Blvd - TURN RIGHT. At Stop sign make left, then left into Monroeville Public Library's Main entrance or parking lot.
From Turnpike:
Exit 57. Once through tolls stay left. Business 22 is immediate exit. From Exit you must cut accross a minimum of 2 straight lanes to get in left turn lane. Turn left follow remaining directions From Parkway East.
Turnpike Alt (fewer lefts):
Exit 57. Take Right Exit (Route 22 towards Murraysville). Drive about 1.5 miles to Northern Pike (after many stores, and a turn to 286 are passed), take right. On Northern Pike go straight, upon crossing highway overpass, Moy's Bar and Corl Funeral will be on your right, stay in left most lane as road becomes 4 lanes instead of 2. At light (Exxon, Carol Harris Staffin, Gulf, International Tire are on the 4 corners), turn left onto 48. Move to right lane, at second light turn right onto Gateway Campus Blvd. At Stop sign make left, then left into Monroeville Public Library's Main entrance or parking lot.
From Irwin through Trafford and other points East using Route 130:
Take favorit route to 130 through Trafford. At Haymaker Village there is a light and a right turn exit to go up Haymaker Road. Take this right. If you miss it follow directions from Irwin using Route 48. Take Haymaker Road about 2 - 2.5 miles, upon passing McGinley Road (Forbes Regional Hospital Campus) stay in right lane. Take jug handle to right as you approach light at the intersection of Haymaker and 48. Jug Handle comes to light next to Teen Oasis. Stay in right lane and go straight through light. At Stop sign make left, then left into Monroeville Public Library's Main entrance or parking lot.
From Irwin, White Oak and other points East using Route 48:
Get to Route 48 using your favorite route, head West and Cross Route 30 heading up the hill with Kmart on your Right and Denny's on your Left. Continue over hill and follow 48 accross bridge. At Route 130, Sheets will be on your Right, Stay Straight on 48. At about 2 - 2.5 miles, after passing Compunetix on your right you will begin going up a hill. You will pass a medical center on your right and will see Sunrise Assisted Living on your left. The light will be a 5 point intersection (Gateway Campus Blvd to left, 48 straight, Jug Handle Egress on right, Haymaker Blvd Egress at "V", 48 behind). At Stop sign make left, then left into Monroeville Public Library's Main entrance or parking lot.
In Library: Meeting is downstairs. Upon Entrance turn right, head straight until reference librarian desk is immediately in front and doorway is on right. Turn Right and follow stairs down. At stairwell egress turn left, go through double doors.
